Singer/songwriters and musical legends Carole King and James Taylor bring their Troubadour Reunion tour to the Prudential Center in Newark this evening, June 25. The show is scheduled to begin at 8:00 p.m. The “Troubadour Reunion” tour as it is being called, came from the series of shows the two did in 2007 for the 50th anniversary of the Troubadour Nightclub in Los Angeles.
The show will be in the round with a slowly rotating stage. A special set of stage seats are arranged in tables of two and they surround the stage to recreate the intimacy of legendary Troubadour performances. Special pricing is available for these table seats. Inspired by Taylor and King’s legendary performances at L.A.’s Troubadour night club, the proceeds from this seating will help benefit the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), Alliance for the Wild Rockies and other outstanding charities that can be selected when the seats are purchased.
