Ozzy, Muse, Weezer Set to Headline 2010 Voodoo Festival

Festival season typically ends with Austin City Limits in September, but more than 100 acts will keep the outdoor party going with this year's Voodoo Experience in New Orleans over Halloween weekend (October 29th through October 31st). Today, organizers unveiled the eclectic lineup for the fest, which takes place at City Park in the Big Easy. Ozzy Osbourne, Muse, Weezer, MGMT, Drake, Metric, Hot Chip, Interpol, Jakob Dylan and Three Legs are just a few of the acts on tap for this year's festival. "I can't think of a better way to celebrate Halloween than with a performance in New Orleans," Osbourne said in a statement.
While the festival touts headlining acts like Osbourne and Muse to pique fans' interests, the event is heavy on acts from the Louisiana region. Some of the local acts performing this year include Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue, Rebirth Brass Band, and Treme Brass Band with Uncle Lionel Batiste.
Tickets for the Voodoo Experience are available now. Three-day weekend tickets cost $150 while VIP passes — which include reserved parking, front row access, and exclusive performances — will set fans back $500.
